Common questions

My sticker didn't come back

Stand about where you were standing when you left it and point your phone at the same spot. It needs to see the surface to know it's home. Give it a few seconds and move slowly. Big blank walls are the hardest place for it to get its bearings; brick, stone, rough concrete and murals are the easiest.

Where's the best place to leave one?

Outside, on something with some character to it. Brick and block walls, retaining walls, stone, boulders, loading docks, the underside of an overpass. Rough and textured beats smooth and blank every time.

Who can see what I leave?

Anyone who walks up. Everything you leave is public. There's no private or friends-only mode yet. Treat a sticker like an actual wall in an actual street, and it'll be the right call every time.

Where did my spots go?

Open the Yours tab and switch the control at the top to Places. Every spot you've left something at is listed there with a map thumbnail, its name and how many stickers are on it. Tap one to see it on a map or rename it; swipe to delete.

Does it work indoors?

It can. But it's happiest outside, and so are you. Save the good stickers for somewhere you had to walk to.

Why does it want my location?

So it knows which stickers are close enough to walk to, and so the ones you leave can be found again.

Which iPhones does it work on?

Any iPhone running iOS 17 or later. It's free, there are no ads, and you can start without making an account.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete Account, in the app. If you'd rather just sign out and keep everything, that's on the same screen.

Report a bug

Tell us what happened and roughly where you were standing. The more ordinary the detail, the more useful it is.

Only so we can ask a follow-up question. Leave it blank if you'd rather not.
